Pasta with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 4-5 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • lemon zest
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4 vegetable broth
  • 2-3 tbsp nutritional yeast

Preparation

  1. Add vegetable broth and garlic to a small pot and simmer for 5-7 minutes. Turn off and stir in nutritional yeast while it’s still hot

  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, salt, lemon zest and vegetable broth with garlic. Whisk it together to combine well

  3. Add it to your favorite pasta and add parsley, more nutritional yeast or red pepper flakes for spice
