Pumpkin Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso

Ingredients

Pumpkin brown sugar syrup

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Other

  • 2 shots of espresso
  • 1-2 cups ice
  • Oat milk

Preparation

Syrup

  1. Combine brown sugar, pumpkin purée, water, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla in a small pot

  2. Whisk together

  3. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally

Drink assembly

  1. In a shaker, combine ice, 2 tablespoons of pumpkin brown sugar syrup, and 2 shots of espresso

  2. Shake

  3. Pour into a glass and add milk to taste

Notes

  1. This recipe makes enough syrup for about 4-5 drinks
