Sausage and Cheese Pastry Wrap

Ingredients

  • 35g puff pastry
  • 3 vegetarian sausages (part cooked)
  • 15g mature cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • No added sugar tomato ketchup
  • Beaten egg
  • Black onion seeds
  • Rocket
  • Radishes
  • Poached egg

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas 6.

  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into a rectangular shape.

  3. Spread tomato ketchup on one half of the pastry.

  4. Place the vegetarian sausages on top of the ketchup.

  5. Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over the sausages.

  6. Fold the other half of the pastry over the sausages and cheese to make a pastry wrap.

  7. Brush the pastry with beaten egg and sprinkle with black onion seeds.

  8. Place the pastry wrap on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

  9. Serve with poached egg, rocket, and radishes.
