Sesame Spider Halloween Treats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup of soaked cashew nuts
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 Tbs of baobab powder
  • 2 Tbs of teff flakes
  • 1 Tbs of chia seeds
  • 1 Tbs of coconut nectar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • Sunflower seeds (for teeth and eyes)
  • Apple stems (for legs)
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • Pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 1 tsp of coconut nectar
  • 1 cup of water

Preparation

  1. Blend together black sesame seeds, soaked cashew nuts, water, baobab powder, teff flakes, chia seeds, coconut nectar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Freeze the mixture for 1 hour.

  2. For the spider bodies, shape the frozen mixture into spider shapes.

  3. Use sunflower seeds to create teeth and eyes on the spiders.

  4. Attach apple stems as legs to the spiders.

  5. For the sesame soup, blend coconut milk, black sesame seeds, vanilla, Himalayan salt, coconut nectar, and water. Bring the mixture to a boil and then blend it until smooth.

  6. Serve the sesame soup in bowls.
