Simple and Quick Creamy Vegan Turmeric Latte
Ingredients
- 2 cups boiling water
- 4 large pitted Medjool dates
- 1/4 cup blanched slivered almonds (or raw cashews)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric (or more if desired)
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- pinch of cinnamon and/or ground black pepper (optional)
Preparation
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend on the highest speed until smooth and creamy for 30-60 seconds.
Pour into two mugs and enjoy immediately while hot. Or store and save for later. Before enjoying after storage, reheat and re-blend.
