Simple and Quick Creamy Vegan Turmeric Latte

Ingredients

  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 4 large pitted Medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup blanched slivered almonds (or raw cashews)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric (or more if desired)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • pinch of cinnamon and/or ground black pepper (optional)

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend on the highest speed until smooth and creamy for 30-60 seconds.

  2. Pour into two mugs and enjoy immediately while hot. Or store and save for later. Before enjoying after storage, reheat and re-blend.
