Strawberry Chocolate Chip Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (gluten-free baking flour can be used)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (coconut sugar can be used)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk (almond milk can be used)
- 1/4 cup oil (extra virgin olive oil can be used)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup diced strawberries
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (mini chocolate chips can be used)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350F and spray or line an 8x8 baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder. Then stir in the diced strawberries and chocolate chips.
In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, and egg.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared 8x8 baking dish and bake for 23 minutes.
Optional: Top the bars with vanilla yogurt and mashed strawberries before serving.
