These Sweet-Tart-Savory Rolls
Ingredients
- mango purée
- seasoned with smoked hot paprika
- ground cumin
- turmeric
Preparation
These sweet-tart-savory rolls are chewy, crunchy and so good with a spicy sweet basil dipping sauce
To make fruit /veggie leather I spread out an even thin layer (1/8th of an inch) of mango purée (5cups) seasoned with smoked hot paprika, ground cumin and turmeric on a baking sheet or silpat, then baked on a low heat 180F ( 80C) for 3
Hours till firm, dry yet pliable
You could also use a dehydrator )
Finally cut into strips and use as paper rolls
This is also a great alternate to rice paper for a grain free option
I made another batch with mango-carrot purée and strawberry purée
Both just as delish
This is a freestyle recipe, so go crazy making them
Just make sure you spread it out thin, keep a low oven temperature and use a silpat or parchment paper for easy peeling
