Tofu Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz. block firm silken or soft tofu*
- 1/4 cup olive oil or melted vegan butter
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth or water
- 1/4 cup tamari or bragg’a liquid aminos
- 1/3 cup nutritional yeast
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (or juice of 1 lemon)
Preparation
Blend all ingredients until smooth
Pour over 16 oz
Of cooked fettuccine pasta and serve with sautéed spinach and your other favorite veggies! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve made this with firm tofu and it works well! simply add more broth or water to reach your desired consistency
