Vegan Cheesy Bowtie Crackers Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbl nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbl salt
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups bowtie pasta ?
  • bring water to a boil then add in the rest of the ingredients. cook the pasta for 4 minutes. drain but don't rinse. ?
  • 1 tbl aquafaba (or avocado oil)
  • 2 tbl nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder ?

Preparation

  1. Mix the dry seasonings together well. Toss the cooked pasta with the aquafaba then with half the seasoning. Toss a few times then add in the rest. ?

  2. Airfry in the basket for 6 min at 390F. Mix and toss. Cook for an additional 5 min. Let cool. They will crisp up as they cool. ?

  3. Bowties airfried WITH oil is only 160 calories. That's the same as 8 triscuits or 10 Ritz crackers
