Vegan Chocolate Birthday Cake
Ingredients
- 11/2 cups of flour1 cup of sugar (brown or coconut work great)1 tsp of baking soda3 tbsp (generous) of cacao powderPinch of salt6 tbsp coconut oil (melted)2 tsp vanilla essence1 tsp vinegar1 cup of water
- 1 bar of chocolate 70% (100g)1/2 can of coconut cream (only the thick part)Shredded coconut
- 1 can of coconut condensed milk1 bar of chocolate 70% (100g)1/4 can of coconut cream (you can use the leftover from the filling)
Preparation
Preheat the oven at 180ºC
In a large bowl sift the dry ingredients and mix well
Then make 3 holes and pour the vanilla in one, the oil in another and the vinegar in the last one
Lastly, pour room temperature water all over and mix well
Pour in a pan and bake for about 25-35 minutes depending on your oven
