Vegan No Bake Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups raw almonds
  • 1 cup pitted dates (medjool preferred)
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate
  • sprinkle of sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup ➖

Preparation

  1. His dessert is super easily made! Add the almonds (you can pre soak them the night before if you like) to a food processor and pulse until mostly broken down

  2. Next you add the dates, tahini, maple syrup, salt and blend everything togheter

  3. Line a square baking pan with parchment paper

  4. Take out the dough like consistency out of the blender and scrape it onto the parchment paper forming a square

  5. While you let that sit a few minutes, use the microwave to melt the dark chocolate

  6. Now, just cover the dough with the chocolate, using a spatula

  7. Put the pan in the freezer or fridge for a few hours so that chocolate sticks to the bars
