Vegan Seven Layer Dip
Ingredients
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1 cup salsa
- vegan cheese
- romaine lettuce
- chopped cherry tomatoes
- olives (optional)
- green onion (optional)
Vegan sour cream
- 1/2 block tofu
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Preparation
Blend 1/2 block of tofu, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp nutritional yeast, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp onion powder to make vegan sour cream.
In a serving dish, spread the refried beans.
Layer the guacamole on top of the beans.
Add a layer of the prepared vegan sour cream.
Spread the salsa over the sour cream.
Sprinkle vegan cheese on top.
Add chopped romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes.
Optionally, top with olives and green onions.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
