Vegan Seven Layer Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa
  • vegan cheese
  • romaine lettuce
  • chopped cherry tomatoes
  • optional: olives and green onion

Vegan sour cream

  • 1/2 block tofu
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Preparation

  1. Blend 1/2 block of tofu, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp nutritional yeast, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp onion powder to make vegan sour cream.

  2. In a serving dish, spread the refried beans as the first layer.

  3. Add the guacamole as the second layer.

  4. Spread the vegan sour cream over the guacamole.

  5. Add the salsa as the next layer.

  6. Sprinkle the vegan cheese on top.

  7. Add the chopped romaine lettuce.

  8. Top with chopped cherry tomatoes.

  9. Optionally, add olives and chopped green onions.

  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving, or serve immediately.
