Vegan Tofu Whole Wheat Baos
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of water with 1/2 cup of lukewarm soy milk
- add 2 tbsp of dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour
- 1 cup of plain flour
- 2 pinches of salt and 2tbsp of olive oil
Preparation
And here’s how to do it: Mix 1/2 cup of water with 1/2 cup of lukewarm soy milk, add 2 tbsp of dry yeast and let it sit
In a bowl mix 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour, 1 cup of plain flour, 2 pinches of salt and 2tbsp of olive oil
Mix everything together and knead for 5 min, let it rest for 30min, roll it out, cut it out in circles, fold them in half and let them rest for 30min
Finally cook them for 12 min in a steamer
