Cardamom Milk Fudge Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons ghee or oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 tablespoon rose water or orange blossom water
  • 4 cups milk powder

For serving

  • ground cardamom

Preparation

  1. Prepare a wide oven dish or tray, grease it with oil, and set aside.

  2. In a pot, combine sugar, water, lemon juice, ghee or oil, and ground cardamom. Heat on high heat with continuous stirring for 5 minutes until sugar dissolves completely and the mixture thickens to a syrup-like consistency.

  3. Remove the pot from heat.

  4. Add 3 cups of milk powder directly, then stir continuously until the syrup is absorbed and a thick mixture forms. Add more milk powder as needed.

  5. Pour the mixture into the greased dish and let it cool to room temperature until it sets.

  6. Shape the set mixture into balls as desired, then sprinkle with ground cardamom and serve.
