Vegan Spaghetti Bolognese with Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • spaghetti
  • onions
  • garlic
  • vegan burgers
  • italian herbs
  • oregano
  • tomato passata
  • water
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • cornstarch slurry
  • long fermentation bread
  • vegan butter
  • olive oil
  • parsley

Preparation

  1. Sauté onions and garlic in a pan

  2. Fry vegan burgers with the onions and garlic

  3. Add Italian herbs, oregano, tomato passata, water, sea salt, and pepper, then simmer

  4. Thicken the sauce with a cornstarch slurry

  5. Quickly sauté fresh garlic in olive oil

  6. Mix the sautéed garlic with vegan butter, parsley, and sea salt

  7. Spread the mixture on slices of long fermentation bread

  8. Bake or broil the bread until golden and crispy

  9. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions

  10. Serve the sauce over the cooked spaghetti with garlic bread on the side
