Kefta Roll with Eggs

Ingredients

  • 1 kg prepared kefta
  • 1/2 cup fine breadcrumbs
  • 5 hard-boiled eggs

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C and prepare a wide baking tray.

  2. Place the kefta and breadcrumbs in a bowl and mix well.

  3. Peel the hard-boiled eggs.

  4. Lay out a large piece of aluminum foil, place the kefta mixture on it, and press it into a rectangle about 1 cm thick.

  5. Arrange the eggs in a line down the center of the kefta rectangle, then roll it up with the foil, seal it tightly, poke several holes in the foil, and place it in the baking tray.

  6. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes until the kefta is cooked through.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes to set.

  8. Remove the foil, slice the roll into pieces, and serve warm or at room temperature.
