Thyme-Marinated Chicken with Penne Pasta
Ingredients
Thyme chicken
- 1 kg chicken breast
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4-5 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 package cream
- Grated cheese
- Mushrooms (optional)
Pasta
- 1 package penne pasta
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
Pasta sauce
- Basil (or mint)
- Olive oil
- Salt
Salad
- Lettuce
- Carrot
- Corn
Preparation
Mix thyme, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper, then coat the cubed chicken and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours covered with plastic wrap.
Cook the marinated chicken in a hot pan with added oil until done.
Meanwhile, boil water with turmeric and salt, add penne pasta, and cook until done.
Once chicken is cooked, add mushrooms and cream, then stir.
Drain the pasta, mix with a little olive oil, chopped basil, and black pepper.
For the salad, chop the lettuce coarsely, add grated carrot, corn, and olive oil to make the salad.
Serve the chicken, pasta, and salad together on a plate.
