Spicy Tamarind Barramundi Stew
Ingredients
Spice paste
- 3 shallots
- 2 red chilies
- Bird's eye chilies to taste
- Turmeric powder
- Shrimp paste
- 1 lemongrass stalk
Main
- Water
- 1/2 pineapple
- 1 barramundi fish
- 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
- Salt
- Sugar
- 1 lime
- Water spinach
Preparation
Blend the spice paste ingredients finely.
Add the blended spice paste and water to a pot.
Add the pineapple.
When the mixture boils, add tamarind paste and fish.
Season with salt, sugar, and lime juice.
Add water spinach.
The dish is ready to serve.
