Carrot and Apple Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 apples
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 cup ground walnuts
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tea cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2.5 cups flour

Topping

  • sliced almonds for coating

Preparation

  1. Prepare the cake mold by greasing it with butter and coating it with sliced almonds, then refrigerate

  2. Beat sugar and eggs for at least five minutes until creamy

  3. Add vegetable oil, milk, room temperature butter, and vanilla, and whisk with a wire whisk

  4. Sift the dry ingredients and add them little by little, mixing with a spatula

  5. Add finely grated carrots, apples, ground walnuts, and cinnamon, and mix

  6. Pour the batter into the mold

  7. Bake in a preheated 170-degree oven for about 50 minutes, checking with a toothpick test

  8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, invert onto a serving plate, and serve
