Banana Stuffed Cake
Ingredients
Cake mixture
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter, soft
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
Filling
- 3 medium bananas
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or hazelnuts

- powdered sugar
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
Mix the dry ingredients for the cake mixture: flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until well combined.
For the filling, mash the bananas and mix with cinnamon and chopped nuts.
Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan, spread the banana filling evenly over it, and top with the remaining batter.
Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar.
