Chocolate Cake with Guava Topping

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups oat flour
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 6 tablespoons demerara sugar
  • 1 heaping tablespoon baking powder
  • 3 heaping tablespoons melted butter
  • 200 grams heavy cream
  • 80 ml milk

Preparation

  1. Mix all the liquid ingredients together

  2. Add the cocoa powder, demerara sugar, oat flour, and baking powder, and mix until well combined

  3. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for about 30 minutes

Tips

  1. Top with melted guava paste (goiabada) after baking for a traditional Brazilian finish
