Brazilian Chocolate Sprinkle Cake
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 50g chocolate sprinkles
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Preparation
Beat egg whites in a mixer until stiff peaks form, add two tablespoons of sugar and set aside
In a mixer, beat egg yolks, sugar, and butter until light and fluffy
Sift the flour and cornstarch, add the milk and beat quickly in the mixer
Add the egg whites and mix, then add the chocolate sprinkles and baking powder and mix with a whisk
Pour into a greased and floured 24 cm tube pan and bake in a preheated 350Β°F (180Β°C) oven for 30 minutes or until golden
