Crispy Spicy Broccoli Wings
Ingredients
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 cup plant based milk
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
- 4 cups broccoli florets
Sauce
- 3 tbsp tamari
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C or 350 F.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the chickpea flour, nutritional yeast, paprika, cumin, and plant-based milk.
Dip the broccoli florets in the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Transfer them to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes until crispy.
Add tamari, apple cider vinegar, tomato paste, sriracha, and maple syrup to a pan over medium heat.
Mix cornstarch with water and add to the sauce.
Whisk until the sauce thickens.
Serve the broccoli with the sauce.
