Easy Homemade Vegetable Spring Rolls
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups of flour
- 1.5 teaspoons of corn flour
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 1/2 cups of water
- 1/2 a cabbage sliced thinly
- 1 cup of spring onions
- 2 cups of grated carrots
- 1 cup of mushroom sliced thinly
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
- Pepper
- Grape seed oil or sunflower oil for shallow frying
- Spring roll wrappers
Sweet chilli sauce
- 1.5 teaspoons of sweet chilli sauce
- 3 teaspoons of maple syrup
- 3 teaspoons of tamari sauce
- 3 teaspoons of balsamic glaze organic
Preparation
In a fry pan add the vegetables, olive oil, salt, pepper and sauté for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
In a bowl place the flour, salt, corn flour, water and whisk until smooth.
In a medium non stick pan place some mixture. Make sure the pan is covered. After a few minutes remove the wrapper and repeat the process.
Place the mixture in the wrappers and fold tightly.
Shallow fry the spring rolls then place on absorbent paper.
Once cooked place the spring rolls on a tray with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes at 180.
Serve with a dipping sauce of your choice.
