Healthy Vegan Black Bean Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans
  • 100g cocoa powder
  • 100g oats
  • 100ml any dairy-free milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 200g dates
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla paste
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 50g dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 50g chopped walnuts (optional)

Topping

  • Vegan chocolate bar (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C

  2. Soak dates in hot water and blend into a paste.

  3. Rinse and mash black beans.

  4. Blend oats into a flour consistency.

  5. Put all ingredients into a large bowl and mix until smooth.

  6. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.

  7. Once cooled, spread over your favorite melted chocolate.
