Healthy Black Bean Brownie

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans
  • 100g cocoa powder
  • 100g oats
  • 100ml any dairy free milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 200g dates
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla paste
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Optional add-ins

  • 50g dark chocolate chips
  • 50g chopped walnuts

Preparation

  1. Soak dates in hot water then blend into a paste

  2. Rinse then mash black beans

  3. Blend oats into a flour consistency

  4. Put all ingredients into a large bowl and mix until smooth

  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C

  6. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes
