Homemade Golden Flax and Chia Crackers with Guacamole

Ingredients

Crackers

  • 2 tbsp flax meal
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp filtered water
  • garlic powder
  • 2 tsp sea salt, divided
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • baking soda

Guacamole

  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • dash of sea salt

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients for the crackers in a bowl, reserving 1 tsp of sea salt. A dough ball should form.

  2. Use a rolling pin or hands to spread the dough into a thin layer on parchment paper.

  3. Sprinkle with the remaining sea salt.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-17 minutes until browned and crisp.

  5. For the guacamole, mix 1/2 avocado with 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion, 1/2 lime, 1 tsp cayenne pepper, and a dash of sea salt.
