Homemade Golden Flax and Chia Crackers with Guacamole
Ingredients
Crackers
- 2 tbsp flax meal
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp filtered water
- garlic powder
- 2 tsp sea salt, divided
- 1 tsp turmeric
- baking soda
Guacamole
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion
- 1/2 lime
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- dash of sea salt
Preparation
Mix all ingredients for the crackers in a bowl, reserving 1 tsp of sea salt. A dough ball should form.
Use a rolling pin or hands to spread the dough into a thin layer on parchment paper.
Sprinkle with the remaining sea salt.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-17 minutes until browned and crisp.
For the guacamole, mix 1/2 avocado with 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion, 1/2 lime, 1 tsp cayenne pepper, and a dash of sea salt.
