Light White Sauce Pizza with Caramelized Onions and Mushrooms
Ingredients
Dough
- 400g flour
- 1 package yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 200ml water
Topping
- 1 package plant-based creme fraiche
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 2 handfuls fresh rosemary
- 2 handfuls mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- pepper
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 onion
- oil
Preparation
Add flour and salt to a bowl
Add oil, water and sugar
Add yeast
Knead for a couple of minutes
Let sit for one hour
Cut mushrooms and onion
Fry the mushrooms and onion in oil
Deglaze with sugar and soy sauce to caramelize them
Mix in the thyme
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with circulating air
Place baking paper on baking tray
Roll out the dough as thin as you can (for 4 small pizzas or 2 big ones)
Spread with plant-based creme fraiche
Add mushroom onion mix
Sprinkle rosemary and fresh pepper on top
Top with the cheese
Bake for 10-20 minutes
