Light White Sauce Pizza with Caramelized Onions and Mushrooms

Ingredients

Dough

  • 400g flour
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 200ml water

Topping

  • 1 package plant-based creme fraiche
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 handfuls fresh rosemary
  • 2 handfuls mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 onion
  • oil

Preparation

  1. Add flour and salt to a bowl

  2. Add oil, water and sugar

  3. Add yeast

  4. Knead for a couple of minutes

  5. Let sit for one hour

  6. Cut mushrooms and onion

  7. Fry the mushrooms and onion in oil

  8. Deglaze with sugar and soy sauce to caramelize them

  9. Mix in the thyme

  10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with circulating air

  11. Place baking paper on baking tray

  12. Roll out the dough as thin as you can (for 4 small pizzas or 2 big ones)

  13. Spread with plant-based creme fraiche

  14. Add mushroom onion mix

  15. Sprinkle rosemary and fresh pepper on top

  16. Top with the cheese

  17. Bake for 10-20 minutes
