Garlic Bread Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp cornmeal
- 3 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp Italian herbs
- 1 1/2 tsp yeast
Preparation
Start the bread maker on the dough cycle. Watch the dough as it begins to mix and add a tablespoon or two of water if it is too dry. Ensure all the dough mixes into a ball without being too dry or too sticky. The process typically mixes and rises for 1.5 hours.
Divide the dough into two balls and roll or press by hand into a greased pizza baking tray.
Let the dough rise for another 20 minutes.
Brush one tablespoon of sauce or olive oil on each and bake at 200°C for 10 minutes.
Place the remaining toppings on the pizza and bake for a further 15 to 20 minutes or until the bottom crust is golden.
