Vegan Pizza with Dough and Toppings

Ingredients

Dough

  • 20g fresh yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 100ml warm water
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • About 350g flour
  • About 50-100ml warm water
  • 3tbsp olive oil

Toppings

  • tomato sauce of choice
  • olive oil
  • garlic
  • green onion
  • basil
  • rucola

Preparation

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in 100ml warm water and let sit for 10 minutes until frothy.

  2. Mix in 1 tsp flour, 1 tsp salt, and about 350g flour, then add 50-100ml warm water and 3tbsp olive oil to form a dough. Knead until smooth.

  3. Cover dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  4. Preheat oven to 220°C.

  5. Roll out dough on a floured surface and spread with toppings.

  6. Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until crust is golden.
