Little Nectarine Pies for Afternoon Tea

Ingredients

  • 330g all purpose flour
  • 150g non dairy butter
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 3 tbsp of sugar
  • 80mL of cold water
  • almond flour
  • nectarines
  • maple syrup
  • milk
  • sugar for sprinkle

Preparation

  1. Put all pastry dough ingredients together in a bowl and mix until you get a nice smooth ball.

  2. Put the dough in the fridge for 1-2 hours or 15 minutes in the freezer before using.

  3. To make the pies, put the dough disc in the mold, add some almond flour on the bottom, place the nectarines on top, drizzle with maple syrup, and add the last layer of dough.

  4. For the egg wash, mix a little milk with maple syrup, sprinkle with a little sugar for crunch, and bake for 20-25 minutes at 180°C.

  5. Serve the pies warm.
