Peach and Strawberry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 3 pieces peach, cubed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Dough

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 10 pieces strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons almond slices

Preparation

  1. Set the middle rack in the oven and turn on to 180 degrees.

  2. Bring a rectangular oven dish size 9 by 13 inches and place the butter in the dish, then set aside.

  3. In a pot, put the peach, sugar and water, let it boil on medium heat then reduce heat and leave for 10 minutes to soften, then set aside.

  4. For the dough, in a bowl put sugar, flour, baking powder and salt, add milk gradually while stirring with a fork to get a soft mixture.

  5. Pour the dough over the butter without stirring, spread the peach over it then spread the strawberries without stirring or mixing the mixture.

  6. Sprinkle cinnamon then almonds without stirring the mixture.

  7. Put the mold in the oven for 30 minutes until golden brown and serve warm.
