Ingredients
- 2 medium egg whites
- 1 pinch salt
- 110 g fine sugar
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 90 degrees Celsius (conventional setting)
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper
In a clean, grease-free bowl, beat egg whites and salt until foamy
Gradually add sugar while beating
Continue beating until stiff peaks form, sugar dissolves, and meringue becomes glossy
Transfer meringue to a piping bag fitted with a star tip
Pipe meringue kisses onto prepared baking sheets
Bake for 2-3 hours with a wooden spoon placed between oven door to allow moisture escape
Check for doneness when meringues release easily from parchment paper
Turn off oven and close door
Let cool overnight inside oven
