Strawberry Chocolate Chip Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten free all purpose flour {or regular}
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar {or regular sugar}
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup oil {I used olive oil}
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup diced strawberries
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F and spray or line an 8x8 baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
In a small bowl, whisk together the almond milk, oil, and egg.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until well combined.
Lightly coat the strawberries and chocolate chips in a little extra flour {helps them to not sink to the bottom} then add those to the batter.
Pour the batter into the 8x8 and bake for 23 minutes! {let them cool for a little bit before cutting into slices}
