Broccoli Pesto Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cashew
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 large handful of spinach
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast ( optional)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt, pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp of pasta water

Preparation

  1. Blend up all ingredients for the pesto

  2. Cook your choice of pasta and add green peas to the pot a couple minutes before pasta are done

  3. Drain pasta and stir in your pesto
