Healthy Avocado Cacao Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk (oat or almond)
  • 3 medjool dates, pitted
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao
  • 1 small avocado or half
  • Optional: maple syrup to taste
  • Mini marshmallows for serving

Preparation

  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender or nutribullet and blend until smooth. Taste and add maple syrup to the desired sweetness.

  2. Pour the mixture into a pan and heat gently.

  3. Top with mini marshmallows and serve.

  1. This hot chocolate provides nutrients like healthy fats from avocado, antioxidants from dates and cacao.
