Crispy Banana and Cheese Spring Rolls

Ingredients

  • As needed lumpia wrappers
  • As needed ripe bananas
  • As needed chocolate sprinkles
  • As needed grated cheese
  • As needed granulated sugar
  • As needed cooking oil
  • Cornstarch mixed with water for adhesive

Preparation

  1. Cut the ripe bananas into small, long pieces and prepare all ingredients.

  2. Take one lumpia wrapper, place a piece of banana on the upper edge, add chocolate sprinkles and grated cheese, then roll it up.

  3. Seal the roll with the cornstarch water mixture and set aside.

  4. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used.

  5. Heat a generous amount of cooking oil on low heat.

  6. Add 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar to the oil and stir until dissolved to create caramel.

  7. Fry the spring rolls in the oil until crispy and dry, then remove and serve.
