Fried Banana Pastry Rolls
Ingredients
Banana
- 2 ripe pisang tanduk bananas
Pastry dough
- 250g all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg yolks
- 1.5 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 tablespoon milk powder
Preparation
Mix the two types of flour and sugar.
Then add sugar, salt, egg, milk powder, and egg yolks.
Knead with a little water added until smooth.
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
Roll out or flatten the dough.
Add banana pieces and roll up.
Fry in plenty of oil over medium heat.
Notes
Ensure bananas are very ripe with skin starting to blacken for best flavor.
