Indonesian Fried Tempe Mendoan

Ingredients

  • 6 tempe mendoan pieces
  • 250 grams all-purpose flour
  • 5 green onions
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Water as needed

Preparation

Batter

  1. Mix all ingredients together and add water to form a batter that is not too thin or too thick

Frying

  1. Heat oil in a pan

  2. Dip the tempe in the batter and fry over low heat until half-cooked

  3. Remove from oil and serve warm
