Fried Indonesian Egg Martabak
Ingredients
- Lumpia wrappers
- Green onions
- Chicken eggs
- Salt and pepper
Meat filling
- 150 grams minced meat
- 3 cloves chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- Salt
Preparation
Sauté garlic until fragrant, then add minced meat and season with salt and curry powder. Add a little water and cook until done.
After the meat filling cools slightly, place some in a bowl, add eggs, sliced green onions, salt, and pepper, mix until well combined, and adjust seasoning.
Prepare lumpia wrappers, add the filling as desired, fold like an envelope, and fry over medium heat until golden brown. Remove from heat, cut, and serve.
Tips
To prevent the egg filling from spilling during frying, use two layers of lumpia wrappers for added thickness.
