Indonesian Stir-Fried Rice Noodles
Ingredients
- 250g fresh rice noodles
- 15 shrimp, cleaned with tails on
- 5 beef meatballs, sliced
- 3 chicken eggs
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 5 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 stalks green onions, sliced diagonally
- a handful of bean sprouts
- green chili peppers (optional)
- cooking oil
Preparation
Pour hot water over the rice noodles and drain them.
Stir-fry the garlic in cooking oil until fragrant, then add the shrimp and sliced meatballs. Add the eggs and scramble them. Cook until the shrimp changes color.
Add the rice noodles and pour in the sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well and adjust the seasoning. Add the green onions and bean sprouts. Stir-fry briefly and remove from heat.
The stir-fried rice noodles are ready to serve.
