Easy Indonesian Tamarind Shrimp
Ingredients
- 300g shrimp
- 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tamarind dissolved in 50ml water
- Salt, to taste
- Mushroom stock, to taste
- 1/2 green onion stalk
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
Preparation
Marinate the shrimp with sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, tamarind water, salt, and mushroom stock. Refrigerate overnight.
In a non-stick pan, add the shrimp with its marinade and stir until the liquid reduces. Add cooking oil and continue stirring until somewhat dry. Sprinkle with green onion and adjust seasoning to taste.
Serve.
