Sour and Spicy Fried Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 450 grams shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • Salt and sugar to taste
  • Cooking oil

Ground spices

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 8 curly chilies
  • 1/2 inch turmeric

Preparation

  1. Clean the shrimp and marinate with the ground spices for 30 minutes.

  2. Mash the tamarind with 100ml water and discard the pulp.

  3. Boil the tamarind water, then add the marinated shrimp, oyster sauce, and chili sauce.

  4. Cook until the sauce thickens.

  5. Add a little salt and sugar.

  6. Finally, add two tablespoons of cooking oil.

  7. Stir evenly, remove from heat, and serve.
