Clams in Oyster Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 kg Clams
- 6 cloves Garlic
- 1 Onion
- 1 thumb-sized piece Ginger
- 2 stalks Green Onions
- 3 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 tbsp Chili Sauce
- 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tbsp Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp Totole
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Preparation
Clean the clams thoroughly until all sand is removed, then boil them with garlic and ginger until the shells open completely
Slice the garlic, ginger, onion, and green onions
Prepare hot oil, sauté garlic, ginger, and onion until fragrant, then add water as needed, add oyster sauce, tomato sauce, and chili sauce, also add sugar, Totole, and salt, stir until well mixed
Add the clams, stir until the seasoning is absorbed and everything is well combined, adjust the taste, then add sesame oil and sliced green onions, stir briefly, and serve
