Indonesian Sweet and Sour Crab
Ingredients
- 6 crabs
- 1 pineapple
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 4 green onions
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp stock powder
- 1/2 glass water
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
Spice paste
- 7 shallots
- 3 garlic cloves
- 6 red chilies
Preparation
Sauté the onion until fragrant and wilted, then add the spice paste and stir until the spices are cooked.
Add the carrots and cook until wilted, then pour in the water and cook until it boils.
Add the chili sauce, tomato sauce, oyster sauce, stock powder, salt, and sugar, then stir until well combined.
Add the pineapple and cook for about 2 minutes, then add the crab.
Sprinkle with ground pepper and add the green onion, then adjust the seasoning.
Cook until the crab is done.
