Sweet and Sour Squid Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- 5 large fresh squid
- 4 baby corn, briefly boiled and sliced diagonally
- 1 stalk green onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, cut
- Oil for sautéing
Sliced spices
- 2 shallots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- 3 red chilies
- 2 red bird's eye chilies
- 2 large green chilies
Sauce
- 3 tbsp chili sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup water
Preparation
Clean the squid, remove the ink, cut and score the inside, and set aside.
Sauté the sliced spices until fragrant. Add the squid and corn, then add all the sauce ingredients. Cook for about 3 minutes.
Adjust the taste. Add the green onion and tomato, cook briefly, then remove from heat and serve.
