Sweet and Sour Crab

Ingredients

  • 6 crabs
  • 1 pineapple, cut into pieces
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 carrots, cut into matchsticks
  • 4 green onions, cut into 3 cm lengths
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon stock powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste

Ground spices

  • 7 shallots
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 6 red chilies

Preparation

  1. Sauté the onion until fragrant and wilted, then add the ground spices. Stir and cook until the spices are cooked.

  2. Add the carrots and cook until they wilt, then pour in the water. Cook until the water boils.

  3. Add chili sauce, tomato sauce, oyster sauce, stock powder, salt, and sugar. Stir until even.

  4. Add the pineapple and cook for about 2 minutes, then add the crab.

  5. Sprinkle ground pepper and add the green onion pieces, adjust the taste.

  6. Cook until the crab is cooked.
