Shrimp and Petai Sambal
Ingredients
- 400 grams shrimp
- 4 pieces aged petai beans
- 50 ml water approximately
Spice paste
- 10 shallots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 10 curly red chilies
- 15 red bird's eye chilies
- 1/2 teaspoon shrimp paste
- 1 tomato
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Mushroom seasoning (optional)
Preparation
Stir-fry the spice paste with a little oil until fragrant and cooked.
Add the petai and stir briefly.
Add the shrimp and stir until even.
Season with salt, sugar, and optional mushroom seasoning.
Add a little water.
Cook until done and the spices are absorbed.
Check the taste and serve.
