Indonesian Squid and Green Beans Stir-Fry
Ingredients
- As needed green beans
- 300g fresh squid
- 6 shallots
- 3 garlic cloves
- 10 green chilies
- 8 red chilies
- 1/2 tomato
- 1 tablespoon tauco
- 1 piece galangal
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt, as needed
- Sugar, as needed
- Water, as needed
Preparation
Heat oil and sauté shallots and garlic until fragrant.
Add ground red chilies, sliced green chilies, tauco, tomato, galangal, and bay leaf. Sauté briefly.
Add green beans and stir. Pour in water as needed and add salt and sugar.
Once green beans begin to soften, add squid. Stir and cook until squid is done. Adjust seasoning.
Tips
Be careful with adding salt since tauco is already salty.
